CGS Growth runs the website cgs-growth.io. If you fill out one of our forms or subscribe to our newsletter, we'll have some of your personal information, and this page covers what we do with it.

The information we get from you

The contact form asks for your name, email, website, and the query a client would type into ChatGPT to find you. Phone number is optional. When you send it, we also record that you agreed to this policy.

The pricing estimate asks for a similar query, your website (if you have one), the kind of business you run, and your email, so we can send you the result. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we keep your email to send it to you.

On the technical side, if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics picks up what browser you're using and general info about how you got to the site and what you clicked on. Standard web analytics stuff. Our servers see your IP address when you send a form; we use it only to stop abuse and don't keep it with your request.

What we do with it

Mostly, we look at your request and get back to you. If it sounds like we could help, we might follow up about working together. An estimate goes to your inbox, and our team sees it too. We also look at the analytics in aggregate to figure out if the site is doing its job.

We don't sell your info. Never have.

Third parties

We use outside tools to host the site, send emails, track analytics, and catch errors. Those providers can see your data to the extent they need to, but only for doing their part. Nobody's getting your contact list for their own marketing.

To work out an estimate, we send your query and text from your public website to an AI search service (Perplexity), and your website address to an SEO data service (Ahrefs). Your email doesn't go to either.

If a court or regulator asks us to hand something over, we will. That's about it for sharing.

How long we hold onto it

If we never end up working together, we'll typically delete your info within a year of your last message to us. Active client relationships are different, and legal or tax records have their own timelines.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we have, fix something that's wrong, or delete it. Email contact@cgsteam.io and we'll sort it out. If GDPR or CCPA applies to you, you may have additional rights under those laws.

Cookies

Yes, we use them. Analytics cookies help us see traffic patterns, and we only set them if you accept them in the cookie banner. The details are in our Cookie Policy.
